Wonderful music. Levi Stubbs had one of the great voices of the 1960's. "Bernadette" is great , so many others and their version of "Walk away Renee" made, along with the Left Banke, for two great recordings of that beautiful song.

I got a chance to see them live in Las Vegas back in the 80s. I'm so happy I did.
Still to this day, I keep a Spotify playlist of Four Tops songs and a few other Motown classics.

Agreed. I feel like the media offers more airtime/printspace to some doofus social media "influencer" in their late teens that doesn't know a turd from a G&H rope who dies in a 170 mph muscle car accident than it does to a legit musical artist from a bygone era before any of that garbage even existed.
