I have been trying to find a good ringtone.

What sounds good when you choose it can become less good when it goes off at an awkward moment when surrounded by people. Such as today in a shop when I was trying to pay for stuff.

For a long while I have had: Mundian To Bach Ke by Punjabi MC. I may go back to it at some point.

Red Dwarf, Gunmen of the apocalypse theme was today's shop checkout tune when my daughter phoned three times and I couldn't stop the song. Love the tune, but.

So I am going to try the intro from AC/DC Thunderstruck for now.

Does anyone have an interesting ringtone?

I haven't had a cell phone in over seven years, but on my last one, I used the theme from the film Shaft. Being the scrawny alabaster Jewish kid from the San Fernando Valley that I was (and in many ways, still am), it certainly turned some heads from time to time.

My landline of the last seven years, sadly, offers no variety in its ring, least of all an option in the blaxploitation genre. Such is life. 🤷‍♂️

I usually keep my watch and phone, when I have it with me, in vibrate mode. I doubt anyone the vacinity wants to know I have a call or message. Morning and evening pill reminders are the theme from The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. I'm usually at home for them where watch and phone are sitting on my desk.

Since I have trouble hearing and I'm often working in my shop with machinery running I have to have something that penetrates the noise. My ringtone is Scotland the Brave. For some reason I can hear the bagpipes better then other ringtones. It must have something to do with my Scottish ancestry.
