This is an exceptionally entertaining video and well worth your while. The video of Rick was recorded live at the recent KC show and has all the little foibles of "recorded live" videos. If you could get people to sit still this would be a great video to show off at your next pipe club meeting.

What they're not telling you is that everyone who watched it had plowed through this only minutes before:

...and had a pipe nearby, but no one was allowed to smoke indoors.
A "bright worldview" person would say that waiting until we got to the tent afterward just made the experience sweeter, and delaying gratification builds character.
A "no BS worldview" person (like me) just wanted to choke out a few anti-tobacco Nazis on general principles.

There's no way I could have sat there for an hour, after eating a meal without excusing myself to the smoking area. But I would have tried. How long would you guys last?
Go to YouTube and search for the title. You can see it full screen that way.

The issue must have been with my phone. I'm in a hotel this evening and started watching it on my laptop. I turned it off, so I can watch the whole thing on my big screen with my wife. We love the old movies, so that will be a real treat. The first few segments look terrific. Thanks for sharing this, I've wanted to see this presentation ever since hearing about it. I couldn't make the show, but this is the next best thing.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to see this! It covers a large gamut of films thru time and I appreciate Rick's comment about limiting the SCI-FI selections from what his brother wanted to include. But for some future edition or edit I would highly suggest the inclusion of the pipe smoking character Colonel Douglas Mortimer as played by the real life pipe smoker Lee Van Cleef in one of the greatest spaghetti westerns of all time, "For A Few Dollars More."

I really enjoyed this. My love for old movies was a big influence on my decision to take up the pipe in the first place. Thanks for posting it for those of us who couldn't be at the show.

Okay, YouTube flagged the video for possible copyright infringement thus blocking its viewing on cell phones. We filed a protest that has lifted the prohibition so that you can view the video (at least for now).
If you enjoy the video please give it a "Like". Comments are welcome.
