Didn't Embers discontinue his use of MM products? I seem to remember that he had thrown them all in the trash? Perhaps I'm mistaken.

I smoke cobs quite a bit and wouldn't mind having one but the $50 price tag is too steep for me.
I don't recall, but then again I can't remember shit according to my wife (unless it's some trivial thing)

nope that's his opinion on the current pipe shown. Which is different
I guess I don't understand what you're saying/asking. He clearly stated that once MM started marketing pipes for marijuana use he threw ALL of his MM stuff in the trash. I don't remember him ever stating that there was a quality issue with the pipes themselves.

You are correct. Their quality is just fine. I once held them in the same regard as the best of my artisan pieces.

Exactly my reasoning. Nothing against the activity but lack of corporate integrity rubs me the wrong way.
I can totally understand that. Especially without any real explanation.
One of my big moments with understanding corporations are two things. When Wegmans got rid of cigarettes the public side was about how much they care about your health. The internal memos all said they're lossing money and no one buys cigarettes from them so they're going to use the shelf space for something they can make money on.
