Retort system

I just purchased one from ebay but it did not come with any instructions on how to use it. I emailed the seller and waiting a response. Any suggestions?

I used mine today on a clogged stem worked like a charm. Watch the youtube videos for instruction its pretty self explanatory. I do wear an apron and face shield just in case and a respirator if using it indoors. Alcohol fumes will make you light headed.

Looks really handy, but im to big of a cluts. I'd have 3rd degree burns and a half burnt down house :lol: Great vid though!!!

I use one quite a bit. Probably cleaned close to 100 pipes using the same one. I use a propane torch for the heat source and have never had a problem. I came up with a rubber cork system with a vent hose I use in place of the cotton. Keeps me from getting alcohol on the finish most the time. If you do get it on the finish, quickly wipe it off and there isn't a problem as you'll want to buff afterwards anyway. Take special care with lucite stems as too much heat will melt them inside.
