Out of that last batch of antique pipes we bought, I immediately claimed the Alpha but it needed some work. Bootleg restained it russet to match the original gold stem. I'm thrilled and can't wait to light it up!

funny... i am currently carving up an Alpha poker that came in the box of pipes from lonestar. The things is a big ol hunk of wood and my girlfriend immediately claimed it as hers and requested it rusticated; "to feel like a bif old rock."

nice pipe cyndi. your man did a good job.

Great looking pipe. Alphas don't get the attention they deserve, they're quality pipes at bargain prices.

Looks great, nice job on the restoration. Stain looks great on that pipe, I wouldnt worry about lighting it right up. If its an alcohol based stain, its already evaporated and if its water based theres nothing to worry about.

Dont tell him you're over it, I'm trying to talk him in to taking a Ser Jacopo Hawkbill in case you run off with the Rinaldo.
