Remembering Freddie Mercury in a very special way

The New York Times reports there is now an asteroid named after Freddie Mercury. The asteroid was discovered in 1991, the year Freddie died, and the name was assigned on Mercury's 70th birthday.

Freddie Mercury was an amazing vocalist and probably had the best range of any rock lead singer EVER!

I grew up listening to Queen extremely loud in my father's house watching him, a very respectable pondered and grounded man, air play the guitar solos every single time Brian May lead the dance !! Memories.

Today I still listen to Queen quite regularly.

That's a very cool tribute to Freddie. Reminds me of the soundtrack for the 1980 Flash Gordon remake that Queen contributed.
