Visited my Grandfather's grave today to put out 2 little flags like every year. God bless our veterans and their families

Just Googled your great uncle and saw that he was a pilot in the Lithuanian Air Force. Please tell us about him.
I've been thinking about all of my relatives who served in the military today and, sadly, I was one of only two people wearing a red poppy rosette at mass this morning.

We would have to sit and and have a few bowls, it's rather a sad yet honourable tragedy. Like so many Veterans that sacrificed their lives for us and Country, we can only begin to appreciate their efforts. He gave up his life so that others would survive and tell their story...Thank you all that have perished for our Freedom !
