FYI...
I remember a movie where they had a decorative item on a desk, a rod (metal match) was on top, the top was pushed down and then pulled out and was lit.
I couldn't find the appropriate words to Google but a video came up on youtube of something in the same category.

"By combining red phosphorus and iodine, you can easily create the highly controlled substance Hydriotic Acid which is an essential ingredient in making meth. Creating 2-3 grams of meth requires about 4 big boxes of matches."
That may be a reason why strike anywhere matches are so small now.Box strike matches don't have the phosphorus on the tip. Just another theory. Anyone who watched "Breaking Bad" will remember the scene where walt sees his competition with the wrong kind of matches in their cart.
Quite a few strike anywhere matches for sale on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1311.R1.TR11.TRC1.A0.H1.Xstrike&_nkw=strike+anywhere+matches&_sacat=0&_from=R40
I picked up 4 boxes at Canadian Tire this week and am going to get 4 more on my way home Friday before I cross the border. That should last me awhile!! Can't believe I am now cellaring matches!!!
