I was in McCranies today and the new Red ribbon arrived 2008 NC Virginia. It is now on McCranie's web site.

I'll just jump in here and mention that I'm currently offering to trade tins of McCranie's Red Flake 1996 in the Tobacco Trades section of the forum.
I know it's not the same as the Ribbon, but I figured that if folks were interested in one, they might also enjoy the other. . .

Right, and you want to trade 4 tins at once. Your prerogative, but I'll go with new Red Ribbon. It's a lot easier.

That's fine, Jud. Actually, I was hoping to trade 10 tins at once! But I've learned that not many folks here are looking to trade multiple tins at once, preferring instead to go with open ounces. (They seem to be more interested in "tasting samples" than in anything ready for the cellar.) I'll have to keep that in mind for the future.
But, thankfully, I did find a willing trader!
