Dont do that Friend. If it is not your shape I would be interested in it...not to mention it is my birth year and I have been looking for a birth year Dunhill, the fact that it is a poker is a bonus in my book. PM me if you would be interested in relieving yourself of it.

Too bad Bill Taylor is no longer with us, if anyone would have the answer (if there is one) it would be him. Instead of a drill, I'm thinking maybe a dental pick around the circumference. Lightly, of course.

I can't help you out with any information, but that is a hell of a nice pipe. I would light that thing up and enjoy. :puffy:

Yup, Bill would know and if he didn't, he'd sure be willing to make a wild guess. I visited his place once and after a tour of the pipemaking facilities we wound up in one of his regular pubs. The rest of the day has disappeared in a haze of pipesmoke and English beer. Anyway, I wasn't really going to take a drill to a perfectly good pipe. And yes, I would like to relieve myself of it so tokerpipes has a pm.
