I am looking for a recommendation from all you "experienced" and discerning smokers.
I really liked the aged RMF I have, and will be grabbing some new tins, but something in the same vein would be appreciable.
I would like to see what is out there that comes close to RMF from other blenders. A guy can read reviews and what the "blend" is, but we all know that a person with an experience palate can give more advise that a random review.

Thanks in advance

Edited* with the proper info....durp

Question:
What if a person with an “experienced palate” publishes a review and you perceive that review as random? Is it a worthwhile review?

Even though it doesn't have the same components, as Marlin fan myself I feel like Peter Heinrich's Reserve Crue #4 strikes me as the most similar.

If you like Marlin Flake, you should love Salty Dogs. It's the same sort of thing but 10x better.

You may also like Mcconnell Black Flake. It does not contain perique, but is otherwise similar (and IMO more consistent with flavor than Marlin is).
