I have a number of sitter pipes and appreciate them all for their various attributes. Pokers are a prime example and are generally all sitters. However, my personal gold medal goes to the Peterson that flies nearly entirely below the radar and has been a favorite of mine for years, the B11 bent brandy sitter, with its good big chamber, relatively light weight, and pleasing balance.
A few times I've seen it identified as a volcano shape, but I'll go with the brandy designation. I'm the only person who has raved about it on Forums that I remember. I own two, both smooth, a Shannon in a dark walnut stain, and a Killarney ebony dress pipe with two thin silver-colored bands, both with fishtail bits.
It has a good wide flat surface to sit upon and is one of the most pleasurable pipes to smoke. Obviously, this shape doesn't charm many people instantly. It is an acquired taste. But take a look, and look closely. I think if you acquire a Peterson B11 you wiil become a devoted fan.

I think that the only sitter I have is a Grant Batson poker. I was a club pipe I purchased 7-10 years ago.
Unless I'm smoking cobs, always have those leather loop pipe stand with me. Don't really like pokers and other sitters. If they have "fat opera singing lady" pipe, I might reconsider it.
I am very intrigued by what a "fat opera singing lady" pipe looks like.
If you really like a pipe and its not a sitter ... you could always go to hardware store and get the stick on felt or silicone furniture protectors and cut one to fit your pipe bottom. Its your pipe who cares what it looks like ... and it would be removable so no damage. They make those stick on protectors in all shapes and sizes now.
Just a crazy thought ...
While we're at it, with a pair of Velcro pads, you could "sit" the pipe anywhere you want! Doesn't even need to be sitting horizontally!
Although I don't classify them as "sitters," some Canadians and Lumbermen do happen to sit well enough, and they're among my favorite shapes.
Many true "sitters" I find unattractive. The only consistent exception is sitter-freehands. I guess they're really cherrywood-freehands. I don't have one, but I really like the look of them. @Chasing Embers has one of my favorites -- care to post a pic? The black one with an orange stem, IIRC?
