I remember that beautiful poker on Blue Room Briars website. Love that pipe!View attachment 209291
Don’t think you can go wrong with a Poker. This one happens to be an old Kaywoodie. But the shape is a popular one and nothing “sits” better.
Agreed. Plus they're usually a little more compact so it's easy to carry in a pocket, clench, or set down on a table.Hard to beat a poker for a sitter.
Peterson 304 (smaller) or 306 (larger); Also Savinelli 620 (Formerly 604). A sitter is not quite the same as a poker although a poker sits as well. Chacom and comoy have a few as well. You can't beat an Algerian briar sitter as well.the Petersons with the flat bottom make a great sitter pipe.
I suck at remembering the numbers but I think the 306 is the one I have. I call that shape the clog because it reminds me of a shoe and it's made out of wood. But it's a great sitter.Peterson 304 (smaller) or 306 (larger); Also Savinelli 620 (Formerly 604). A sitter is not quite the same as a poker although a poker sits as well. Do you have any brad in mind?
