these are some of my recent revamps of formerly smooth estate pipes. i didn't include before pics, but i do have some if anyone insists. i also did a bent bulldog of romeowoods, but there aren't any pics of it. i didn't want it to be seen before it is received and i didn't get any before it was shipped home. i'll leave posting that up to RW. opinions welcome and wanted. thanks.
first is an old bulldog. this was actually the second one i ever did, but never really finished. finished him up.

this is an old nameless danish freehand. my uncle picked it up in the Boston area in the seventies. i always loved the shape but the grain was far too boring to pull off smooth.

this is a small pot i also received from lonestar in an earlier trade. the stem was over turned and he included it as a bonus gift. i did very light carving as the walls were already pretty thin, and straightened up the stem problem.

Great work brother! As one pound puppy pipe said to another "I just got my head bashed!"

You did some great work on those estates and selected a fine choice of tobacco (or tin, I should say) for a prop.

Oh man the anticipation is killing me! And it's awesome to see the different approaches you took with each pipe, the Waverly particularly. I'll be posting a bushel of pics when I get mine.

thanks all.

thekiltedchaplain - i use the dremel sir.

william - thanks. the mac barren navy flake is one of my favorites. i was smoking it in the waverly when i decided to take all the new ones outside and take some pictures.

romeowood - i pm'd you the tracking number. i think you will like what yours became. the waverly is a favotite of mine as well. and the mastercraft billiard smokes amazingly.

the VFQ you sent me, two straight bulldog basket pipes, and a lovet are being worked on now.

Nice work!!! I kept thinking about a rustication of the continents... That would be cool!!! What stain do you use? I might have to get some estates and give it a try??
