I use pipnet on the rare occasions I ream my pipe, I know Geore Dibos prefers the triangular shaped reamer but that is a sure recipe for disaster if I used that one.

That was until I discovered popsicle sticks.

For initial cake removal (if it's heavy), I do this:

For everyday use, popsicle sticks are absolutely the ticket. Their edge shape and hardness is EXACTLY right for scraping without chipping. Push as hard as you want. Spin the bowl any way you want. The (slightly) flexible wood will conform to any chamber shape. Not just idiot-proof, but the result is perfect. Carbon made as smooth as an old-school chalk blackboard.

Yep I watched your videos and will likely get around to making some of the spade bit 'crackers' as well.
Fortunately I have several pipes that don't need too much bowl-cleaning to tide me over. I did end up ordering a PipNet from AmazonUK. It will take a month to get here, but we shall see.

You don't mention popsicle sticks in that video... I'll have to hunt for another. But my plan was sandpaper-dowel and soften with an alcohol soak if it's not getting along.

Been spending WAY TOO MUCH time trying to find small quantities of Black Ice sandpaper per your recommendation. Only found in Canada with US Shipping more than the product. Any views on 3M Wet sandpaper? I can get that in the right grades locally. I do have micromesh pads.

10-4 on product availability / country hassles.

Try pinging Sasquatch to see what he uses & how he obtains it. (He's in central Alberta)

I'm in the USA... but I will see.
Also was trying to find the Menzerna PP and XF bars but seems they changed their product naming. Anyone know what the modern-day versions would be? I emailed them but have not heard back yet.

Yeah, just looking for by the sheet or a 5pk. I found a site in Canada that will sell open sheets with no markup, but shipping is high. Maybe still worth it. But 3M wet paper I can get by the sheet in a local shop. Ace also has either brand which someone good probably makes, but I'd trust 3M first.
