I tend to smoke what's open and in use. I took three major Christmas boxes to ship to the P.O. and played the time wrong and ended up in a line of about 25 or 30 people, so it was a wait. One woman, way in front of me, had a sort of A-frame box with screened air holes that was labeled "live birds." Can you imagine shipping those through the post at Christmas? Looked like doom for the birds, whatever they were. Luckily, I had brought my boxes in on my trusty hand cart, so I didn't have to slide them along the dirty floor nor keep picking them up to move in the line. The clerks kept the line moving, and thanked me for my patience, and I thanked them for their hard work. Christmas time is neigh.

The bill for all three boxes was under fifty bucks, so at today's prices, scheduled to get there well before Christmas, I think I did okay.

Waiting to see what I get from SS and then I'll decide.
Well, I just posted in the SS thread, and per my comments there, I may try Picayune this season. I've also some 2021 Cringle Flake I've not tried yet, and I'm sure I spied a tin of We Three Kings on my shelf, also new to me. One or all of these will certainly be on the palate before the winter solstice.

Ha. Th
Got my Christmas tobacco out and ready to smoke this holiday season. What are you all smoking as the weather turns cooler (in Canada and the northern US at least!)?

ha. That’s so festive of you. I got Cringle flake of course but aside from that, never had a Christmas blend. I saw some pretty amped up tins on Bremen Piper’s channel over in Germany. really large, going all out branding there. Most are aromatics it seems so I’ve passed on a good bit of these so far.

I'm open to learning anything I can about it. I have read some TR opinions and that's all I know. Sounds good though.
Specifically, I'm wondering if now's a good time to go ahead and open it - I'm certainly game to do so!

I still have some Cringle Flake from 2021, and I also just popped a jar of The Country Squire's Figgy Pudding from last year. The Figgy Pudding has aged REALLY well!

Between the week of Thanksgiving and New Year's Day I smoke my Christmas pipes and Christmas blends. Not exclusively but it's the only time I do so. In the rotation is Figgy Pudding and Cordial Friends from The Country Squire. Christmas Cookie from Boswells. Cringle Flake and Christmas Cheer and the like.
