Yep, Hawkbill for sure. We don't see many Caminetto's in recent years. I believe the color of the mustache stamp dictates how old it is? I seem to remember Gold mustaches being desirable. I'm sure there's a Pipepedia on them.

All I know is that the thin mustache (looks like a seagull) is older, and the newer mustache is two rounded comma-shaped bits. I doubt this is old enough, but the earliest Caminettos say "Ascorti-Radice" in the stamping.

Good morning! Thank you. There is info, it’s just not as clear as castello or dunhill information. I haven’t seen this shop before in this brand so I thought it was pretty unique. Maybe an homage to how all those pipe makers are interconnected

Cool shape, nice size for walking or moving about. I like the feel of a rusticated pipe, for the security it imparts, as well as the individual 'character'. I like the feel of a smooth pipe for its own particular tactile and visual stimulus.
How big is the chamber?

Check out briarblues.com. Mike has a whole section about these pipes especially the older ones. I used to have a few as they smoke really well. If they had ever used ebonite for the stems I would have at least a dozen plus. Congrats on a cool pipe.

Okay. So is this one I just picked up today original or a repaired shank? Lol.
