I don't disagree. In school, we had to learn, at a minimum, how to communicate using the written word. Also, having gone to Catholic schools, penmanship was stressed very heavily also.
I am just trying to give others the benefit of the doubt since all our brains are wired a bit differently.
I also acknowledge that much of my writing in an informal conversational setting is filled with slang, shortcuts, and colloquialisms.
None of this is meant to marginalize the intent of the OP or the great responses.

I enjoy reading many posts regardless of how they're written. Just me though. I do understand some of the frustration. I battle getting irritated with mix-ups over Your/You're, there/their/they're, etc.... on a regular basis.
