Random pipes, Including Peterson's Kapmeer and an Avon

My husband has a number of pipes, hence me joining this page, and he is looking for some information about some of them, value (for insurance purposes- he really does not want to sell them) and in some ways for his own memory, and estimated era of them, although he can guesstimate at the the period he bought them, he's not 100%sure
Is anyone able to point me in the direction of someone that could help me, please?

Welcome. Here's a couple of website with great pipe information for research. You won't find values, but you can research pipes and manufacturers.

I can't find another name on it though.
It's stem is facing the wrong way in the picture, which is my fault, I didn't realise until after I'd taken the photo.

Pipedia doesn't have a listing for Avon.

That second one you posted is Meer-lined, which means the bowl is lined with a different material called Meerschaum.

The third is definitely a Petersons.

For value, I'm not sure you'd need to value them for insurance purposes. I don't think they are overly valuable.

when you say not worth anything, do you mean less than £50 each? He seems to think some are more, but it's ok either way, he doesn't want to get rid, he just has these thought processes, and we want to be sure with him.

Another option is to search your husband's pipes on ebay completed auctions. That might give you a rough idea of their value.

I did try this, and wasn't getting the right looking ones, or options for what I was typing in, sadly. That is why when I found this, I thought it looked hopeful for information....

To identify them, detailed photos of the markings on both the wood and the mouthpiece would be necessary.
