I think she battled some serious mental health issues back awhile ago. RIP.

I live in the same town she did - Livingston, MT - so she was a neighbor of sorts. I ran into her a few times here in town. She was very down to earth - used to come into the Albertson's where I worked for fried chicken every so often and took her dog to the local dog park pretty regularly. Just her - no entourage or "people".
She also was a major supporter of the local community theater, although her donations were often made "anonymously" as she didn't want the recognition. If anything, she just wanted to be one of the locals - and the cool thing is, the townspeople here were happy to let her.
She will very much be missed, God bless her.
