Well, this is devolving nicely. ? It’s time to share some restroom philosophy that I learned at Leaders Lanes bowling alley in Brooklyn, NY went I but a child “Some people come here to sit and think, others come here to shit and stink, but I come here to scratch my balls and read the bullshit on the walls.” It’s amazing what our memory chooses to retain... (I imagine the author was speaking of bowling balls?) ?

There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. Yet that will be the beginning.

I had to quote that one MSO, I'm going to come back to that several times I'm sure.

I know religion is verboten here, but there are a few verses that stick around in my head.

I've worked with a few people that had some great one liners:

"You don't have to be crazy to work here, but it helps"

"I wouldn't trust her with my pet rock"

Good and evil both increase at compound interest. That is why the little decisions you and I make every day are of such infinite importance. The smallest good act today is the capture of a strategic point from which, a few months later, you may be able to go on to victories you never dreamed of. An apparently trivial indulgence in lust or anger today is the loss of a ridge or railway line or bridgehead from which the enemy may launch an attack otherwise impossible. ~ C.S. Lewis

Humor is perhaps a sense of intellectual perspective: an awareness that some things are really important, others not; and that the two kinds are most oddly jumbled in everyday affairs.
~Christopher Morley

A jest often decides matters of importance more effectively and happily than seriousness.
~Horace

Men will confess to treason, murder, arson, false teeth, or a wig. How many of them will own up to a lack of humor?
~Frank Moore Colby
There are two kinds of people in the world: those who love chocolate, and communists.
~Leslie Moak Murray

The funniest things are the forbidden.
~Mark Twain

I believe in everything; nothing is sacred. I believe in nothing; everything is sacred. Ha Ha Ho Ho Hee Hee.
~Tom Robbins

Joke 'em if they can't take a fuck.

Very few have a sense of humor anymore...even less when it’s in written form.
I don't know... we seem to have a pretty good bunch here that seems to take humor well and dish it out. As far as the rest of the world... yeh, why take everything so damned seriously? No one gets out alive.

Many a word of wisdom are said in jest but never by idiots.

Time and tide wait for no man.

Well, what good are you. (This little ditty was my senile fathers when you told him you couldn't do something that was plainly impossible.)
