Question on Sasieni Two Dot

I have been reading everything I could and I still don’t have a good answer. I understand these were only made for a short time. What years ?

I seem to recall that they were manufactured from 1961 to 1979. But other than a mention somewhere, I don’t have any solid references to back that up.

Thank you! Yhea i just can’t find anything that states when exactly they came and left the market. I read it was only a short time. So i thought maybe a definite answer would be available. I can tell they were later in the family era. But that’s it. I’m putting together a Sasieni 58/ moorgate set. By far my favorite pipes. And recently got a two dot moorgate. Was trying to figure out where it lands in the timeframe of the set.

My understanding is that Alfred Sasieni began the Two Dot when he took over in 1946. So, I believe, 1946 to 1979. I'd have to find the reference material to be sure, though.

I thought this was interesting and worth sharing here. A trademark application that states the date of fist use of the Sasieni two dot trademark was 1956.
