All my Custombilt's and varients together , everything else in a rack, or cigarbox, or a box of projects to finish. Sooooo, very little organization.

I used to have my pipes sorted autobiographically. Depending on when I purchased it or it came into my posession would determine it's place. When I got to around 30 pipes or so I started sorting them by type. Cobs, meers and clays are together because I have less of them and my briars are further broken down by country of manufacture and in order of my preferrence.

I have organized and re-organized my collection multiple times, but the one I stuck with was by
Shape -> then size -> then finish
At least to me makes for the visually most appealing display.

@rothnh : Before we left Alaska, I was curious to see what I could get for Paolo's pipe so to test the waters I put it on [ that auction site ] with a BIN price of $250. Some fellow in China snatched it within a day, paid freight, and it's gone

Well as I mentioned before I'm letting go of some of my pipes just because I don't reach for those ones as often. I feel like I need to be excited about smoking a pipe not just grab the next one sort of thing. Those will be going on briarbid that sites been good to me so far.

I know, I put it off forever because it's just so much work. Then I took a weekend and wrote me a little tool where I just have to input the measurements, take 4 photos and it generates the ebay description page for me. ;-)
