Those of You who are smoking either of the highlighted tobaccies on a regular basis, how do you like having them?Do you prefer leaving these tobaccos to air dry before loading up or whether do you prefer enjoying them as they come, right from the pouch, I'm finding these would taste a little nicer when enjoyed fresh but the obvious drawback in my case is increased chance of getting tongue bite, the same goes with Amphoras and the majority of G&H Lakeland flavored stuff,

Generally I think both are fine as is and don’t have any issues keeping either lit. I’ve tried a little dry time on both but it seems they lost

I am usually so eager to smoke SB that I will smoke it straight from the freshly opened pouch. After the first day in the pouch or LFC tin it will be a bit drier which is also fine. But if left to dry too long, I find it looses some of its taste.

I like my Condor as is, St Bruno is always too moist straight out ... quite frankly I have a special jar for St Bruno, the types with a rubber gasket and inner sponge on the lid, that does not seal very well. I put my St Bruno in there an with time it gets to the right amount of moisture. By that time I have a few weeks to smoke it all before it gets too dry.

Thank You for your comments Gents, I will keep this for my records''somehow, lately I'm coming to realize those folks whom regular tobacco St Bruno /Condors is seem to prefer it right outta pouch especially those few Englishmen with whom I have had this conversation earlier ,nontheless ,unlike me, those few gentlemen were, what we call seasoned pipesmokers' whose always been smoking nothing but British OTC's and other G&H offerings, so that may play some influence here as well,

I have both of them and like them both. I smoke SB on a more regular basis than Condor, because for me Condor is a heavier tasting tobacco. When I get new tobaccos I normally let them age for a 6-12months before smoking them and I dry them on the more drier side before smoking.

St Bruno is one of the few blends I smoke at different moisture levels depending on mood. If I want more of the topping and less of the tobacco flavors, then it's straight from the pouch, though it doesn't smoke as easily. Otherwise I'll let it dry down, which I always do with the flake, to get more of a balance between the topping and the underlying tobacco blend, and more flavors overall.

It's not the Ogden's product, but it's better than nothing.

@sablebrush52, Thank You for your added comment, much appreciated, obviously I have this little problem if I don't let any tobacco to dry out sufficiently I get very easy bitten, no matter how, but I will keep experimenting further ,I must admit St Bruno seems to taste better when right from the pouch but also Is harder to keep lit and tongue bite may occur eventually, and yes, presumably ,I have a reason to believe the almighty St Bruno was different back then when it was produced by Ogden's,
