I've schmoked CB White for years and like it for a change. It tastes the same today as it did in 1975.
I would like to know what is the Seven Seas Blend that is alike CB White.
What is the Lane blend that is like CB White.

I've only had the White... I know it needs a long time to dry before it's enjoyable. I am soon going to get some RLP-6 to see how that treats me.

Unclearthur, thanks for suggesting MacB 7 Seas Royal.

I'm enjoying my second bowl right now.

Good stuff. Very mild and burns extremely cool.

The taste, pouch aroma and room note are delightful, and noticeably distinct from Cap'n Black Royal and its Lane's kissin' cousin, 1Q.

Will I like it as much as (or more than) CBR and 1Q?

It's possible. I'll let you know about 4 ounces from now.

In the meantime, I'm just gonna take my time and enjoy the heck out of this stuff.

Even with the shipping cost factored in, 7 seas was more than a buck an ounce cheaper than the Cap'n and about the same per ounce as my local 1Q blend.

That's a darn fair price for a fine bowl of baccy.
