Also keep in mind that our online prices in the US, are (Or are almost) wholesale, as most of the online vendors either also act as wholesalers for the B&M's or don't mark up prices very much because of low overhead. B&M pricing are closer to what the Europeans have to pay, because they include a keystone mark-up to pay for higher overhead and taxes.

Tinned tobacco is 'boutique' tobacco, bagged is anything from soup to nuts.

Dry bagged tobacco is a good thing. D&R has 16% moisture content. It's dry.

If you watch Semois being made by its producer, you won't find a blend drier. He roasts his tobacco.

I've tasted differences in bagged and tinned versions of some blends, not all. Nightcap in the tin for me was much better than the bulk I ordered. Not sure if that would continue to be the case.

Autumn Evening tastes the same in bulk or tin.

Balkan Sasieni was close.

If you're buying codger blends, I think there's a difference between pouch and can, in presentation somehow, but they're similar enough to be considered par imho.

@ av47... though those prices are quite high, Australia is even higher. Approx $50-60 Au for a tin.
Stan, I remember that you were selling tobacco without any margin to the forum members living overseas. Are you still doing that? Maybe you can help Jay.

"Fortunately, I can take the advantage of those sales opportunities. For personal use, I can import anything with a value up to $1000 per month without paying any fee."
That does it then, I'm moving to Baku :D
Regards,
Jay.

I hate Coke...
I don't hate it. It just makes me ill.
I would always go bulk, if you can. Hear me out:
1. You're going to put it in a jar anyway

2. You pay less for the cost of shipping

3. Bulk seems to be less moisture/more flavor (anecdotal)

4. Unloading bags into jars is easier than unloading tins

5. It's easier to explain to spouses/SOs/friends/parole officers
Trust me on this one.
