I was going to get the 01 bent pot in spigot configuration. I have an 01 bent pot with just the standard nickel army mount with no spigot on the stem. I was curious to know if the spigot stem would fit in the other pipe I already own. Interchange them that is

Let me give a try. Have 80s in both spigot and army mount.

Interchangeability of pipe parts, even within one brand and shape, is not very uniform. Could be perfect match or way off.

With original stems.



With changed stems. Army stem fits spigot stummel well. But spigot stem doesn't fit Army stummel. Mainly due to the spigot on the stem.

On the other hand 106 stems are interchangeable. I think it depends on each pipes. On bottom 80s picture, you can how far the stem will go in by the tarnish on spigot stem.
