Sorry guys, the correct answer was "Dark Twist".
We'll have more fun next week with "Guess That Tobacco!"

Plain old Orlik Golden Sliced seems pretty sweet to me, without any over-the-top flavors added to it.

I heartily recommend Dan's Patriot Flake. I just finished off a tin a few weeks back and it's a pure virginia with what I considered to be a light topping of sugar. It was my go-to blend when I wanted a virginia that was sweet.

+1 for Stokkebye Luxury Twist Flake.

I'd also suggest Lane MV-1000 - sweet Virginias with a mild topping

They are indeed strong!

And off topic:
Gawith Hoggarth & Co.: Brown Irish X Unsliced

Gawith Hoggarth & Co.: Sweet Whiskey

G.L. Pease: KEY LARGO
On an interesting note, the Gawith Hoggarth & Co.: Sweet Whiskey actually vaguely fits your description: it is straight VA, but African and Indian-grown, and probably a lot more potent than what you were thinking in your original post. Furthermore, it has a very, very light sweet topping (if it's like the other twists), so it is also similar on that note.
All the flavored twists I've tried (rum, maple, coconut) were a bit like smoking a really smooth but strong cigar with a sweet undertone--very tasty.

Well I know I love the smell and taste of cheap and stinky cigars so i thought I ought to try some twists. The only thing I'm concerned about is the nicotine as I hate feeling nauseous. Although I smoke alot of blends now and the only tobacco that really his me was Nightcap so we'll see...
