An additional warning to add to the OP:

Use gloves if you're cutting up hot peppers, especially habaneros or hotter. If you've never experienced hot pepper hands, you don't want to. Your hands can be on fire for hours.
When my brother and I were kids, we had to help my uncle, who was a farmer, pick his crop of jalapeños. At some point towards the end of the day, we got the genius idea to start throwing the bad peppers at each other. Needless to say, some were direct hits to the face. The first few weren’t bad, but I have a distinct memory of riding home with my eyes on fire, tears and snot running down my face, holding my head out the window of the truck like a damn dog, trying to let the wind cool my face off. Dumber than hell. ?

I have fairly severe back issues and have used many different liniments, capsaicin (the spicy stuff in peppers) is a common ingredient. I have on several occasions applied some kind of hot liniment/rub on my back before exercising or working and sweated liniment into my ass crack, which is slightly uncomfortable to say the least. I have accidentally tiger balmed my balls once before, that also was not very comfortable.??

only a percentage of the population.. some people break down that enzyme and some do not. Whether or not asparagus makes your pee stink is a question of genetics.

I’ve also heard, while still dealing with genetics, that even some folks who have the stinky piss gene don’t have the olfactory capability to recognize it. Lots of interesting genetics information surrounding stinky asparagus piss. I, for one, know I have both the stinky piss gene and the ability to recognize it gene activated.

On the asparagus question, I always learn something on Forums. I think of it as the Pipe Smoking Free University.

Right. I scored on both counts, too. In case y’all were wondering ?
