An email to My Smoking Shop confirmed the above, with the news that Kopp would be reintroducing Rattray's 'later in the year', but loose tobacco only - no more tins. 'Don't hold your breath' was the parting sentiment.
Anyhoo, happy to report that Black Swan* have the new Rattray's in stock. So far as I can tell, all the former blends are now available. I'm sure other UK tobacconists will follow soon, though not listed as of this moring at MSS.
