jpm, I live in Ohio. Avg RH is 50% for this time of year and we have running about the avg. I would have thought it was a RH thing but like I previously posted being able to dry out FVF with ease in 30 minutes and the PS taking far far longer with no change told me it was a blend issue not RH.

I did not, the order was about a month ago and it was only 1 ounce. So I will smoke it the best I can then pick up some more and compare my results. In the end it just means more smoking! Just wanted to make sure this wasn't the norm for this blend. Thanks for all the input.

It's funny you mentioned this. Just last night I was doing a comparison smoke of Proper English and Oriental Supreme.

I purchased them from SP at the same time and jarred them as soon as I received them, about 6 weeks ago.
Upon cracking open the mason jars, I noticed that the Supreme was substantially stickier than the Proper Eng, although all other variables remained constant.

Perhaps this particular blend is wetter than average???
I let it dry for about 30 min and had little problems burning it cool and flavorful.

I'm the end, my trials led me to one overwhelming conclusion: Proper English bears Oriental Supreme hands down.

Will be picking up some to cellar.
