Yep, that's exactly what I had at 23 - I may have one now - it feels familiar
yeah it's a particular feeling isn't it? You know how when someone kicks you there (I don't even have to say it) after the big pain is gone there is still that lingering pain? Well I remember it feeling like that non stop. Funny thing is thinking about it has always made the feeling come back a bit. And one of the symptoms is burning sensation when urinating didn't get that but instead got this sensation like urine was semisolid and it smelled weird too. I think it was the most relieved a doctor ever made me feel. Though I have to ask when you had that issue was the doctors first instinct probable std?

I wasn’t allowed issues growing up. Damn near died several times in childhood but my Dad always told me to “walk it off.”
Hahaha! That reminds me of an uncle of mine who bought medicine for one of his son's illness, and the medicine caused an adverse reaction, and he was like "I don't care if he got sicker. I paid money for that shit, so now he must finish it! No waste here!!"

Do not waste your time, make an appointment asap. If your insurance doesn't allow you to see a specialist immediately, call your family doctor first and he will connect you with a specialist. It could be something relatively benign, such as low back pain that irradiates down... or a serious condition, do not take a risk, it needs to be evaluated.

I’m a prostate cancer survivor. My grandfather, my dad and my brother also had it. Dad died at 67 and had a miserable 6 years fighting it. Don’t mess around. I had no symptoms at all, but my doctor was on it due to my family history. I had the prostate removed and had a full recovery with no sexual dysfunction.
I do miss the finger exams, though. My doc used a French tickler and played a lot of shows tunes during the test!
In all seriousness, go to your urologist. Life is good.

When they labelled a section of the forum Pipe Talk, I don't think this is what they had in mind. nnnn

Good luck with the doc, winter!

After my vasectomy, I didn't heal so well, and I developed a reoccurring ureter infection for a year and a half. That's not the urethra; the ureter is the line between the bladder and kidney. It felt like a dull kidney pain, but more in the front and about the same level, or slightly higher than the hip joint. No problems with peeing. Needed long regimes of Ciprofloxacin to fix it.
