I didn't drive myself. I was on a party bus with a bunch of people, so I couldn't smoke. Apparently you aren't allowed to smoke on them. I wouldn't have smoked anyway, because it would have bothered some people

I wish I had a Prom to get ready for. It's been so long ago, I forgot who I took. Did I even go? I can't remember now. Hope I had a good time.

Prom season ended on a tragically ugly note here in my small town. Two 18 year old seniors were killed last Saturday night driving home from the prom. Too much speed on a curvy, country road and they ran into a tree. The girl was the captain of the girls Volleyball team and mentored my god-daughter as a freshman player. The boy was captain of the baseball team and was going to play ball next Fall in college. Both funeral services concluded yesterday, but it still wants to make me cry typing this. Just a tragedy we are all still reeling from. Drive safe you young folks (well, everyone).
