Prom

I'm going to prom today. I graduated last year, my girlfriend hasn't yet. I'm kind of excited, we're taking a party bus. The banquet hall its at is really far away, so this will make the ride much more enjoyable. I will post pictures later.

Hey dude, have fun. I wasnt the biggest fan of prom, but it isnt a bad time at all. Make sure you make it your girlfriends night, its most likley more important to her than it is to you lol. Have a good time

It is. When I was having my tux fitted, the people there were asking me questions, and I just told them to ask my girlfriend

Alcohol would make it better, but I live in a rural area, and the banquet is in a city area. I don't like city driving, because I rarely am in the city. Also at night I have a hard time reading street signs

Thats not what I meant lol, Me and my friends, and our dates stayed the night on the beach, I have a special pass that lets me drive on and fish, So the guys fished all night and the girls did something else, I couldnt tell you what it is, I was fishing lol

Funny you should say that Marm, my friends and I rented a Greyhound to get to and from our prom/after-party. I recall the trip far more fondly than either the dinner, or the excessive consumption of Greek 'shine that followed.

Thats neat, you never forget your Prom. Off like a prom gown, that's what I always say....
My wife's prom, circa 1980, I had just purchased a 1969 Dodge Charger the day before and was proud to drive this beauty as our prom carriage. My girlfriend (now wife) had a white gown and I had a white tux. Hey, it was the 80's.... I made a corner in our small town and a calamity ensued under the hood and the car shut off. It seems the battery had not been tied down flipped into the fan blade, clipping the ground cable. So, minutes later, the white jacket is off and sleeves are rolled up. Luckily I had some tools stashed and a classmate ran to get me a new cable. 30 minutes later, we're at the Prom, white tux unmarked. Good times...

I spent my senior prom with some good buddies around a campfire, then went four wheeling and inevitably spray painted my best friends car at his request....aah memories! Glad you werent nearly as stupid as I was. Glad you had a good time bud.
