All good suggestions. I'll look into pipe mud techniques. I'm also thinking about dedicating it to English blends as these tend to burn cooler and drier for me.

A funnel in the tenon. I make it in almost all my bent pipes and also in some

straight ones.

I have it from Lars Ivarsson who wrote about it in the magazine " Piben "

back in the 70ties.
