I had to look that one up. Sorry but as big of a trekki fan that I am Start Trek on tv ended in the 1960's when the original series ended. I was devastated after they cancelled it after only 3 years. It was my favorite show and I have seen every movie they ever made. I tried to get into Next Generation and for a while I got into it but after a while I got bored. I never watch DS9. I refused to watch the one with the woman captain she was so freaking annoying. I wanted to get into other shows but my trekkiness only went so far. I have been waiting years for another movie. I thought the casting of the last movies were pretty good. I thought the guy they got to play Doc Mcoy did a really good Job and all the other main characters were well done.

The biggest issue I have with the last series was it's pg ratings. They need to go for way more blood and violence and and way more swearing. It is time the series grew up.

At 18 when I was drafted I had a full head of curly blond surfer hair. I bitched about they are going to buzz my hair off. My dad said look around.. I'm bald, your 3 uncles are bald and both grandfathers are bald. You're a short timer with hair. I don't think cussing like the stereotype of a sailor means someone has grown up. I think some of what you said about women would be better on Ferenginar.
