I believe he is referring to the old crank call?
Ring ring...Hello

(caller asks) Do you have Prince Albert in the can?

They say ,"Why yes we do"

(caller says) Well you better let him out! LOL
:| Hmm not so funny when you explain it. Or it was just a simpler time?

YAY! My color changed! I get to be a junior member. Does that mean I get to be the goofy sidekick that always has to be rescued? I'm looking forward to that, and my new job as cub reporter for the Daily Planet.
I never thought I'd enjoy PA. I can't end my day without it, now. It's such a friendly smoke. I never thought I'd like Burleys, until I tried the Prince. I always a tub around now.
I might be cheating, though. Picked up a tub of Granger. I'm going to light my first bowl of it here in half an hour or so.

I'm surprised so many people seem to be trying out PA for the first time. It was the third OTC blend I bought. Great stuff though, I always smoke it out of my MM legend when I go shooting.

I am also a fan of PA. It's one of those old "codger" blends that has survived for over 100 years for good reason. I even know a couple of fellows who use it for their RYO cigarettes.
PA, along with CH and H&H, is perfect in a Grabow or cob as a work smoke. No fussing with it, just fire it and puff away while working, with an occasional tamp . I rarely have to relight a bowl of PA.

Hey PipeTrucker, it just dawned on me that if I had been smoking pipe when I was still a driver PA would have been perfect!

Just smoked my first bowl of PA, and it's just as good as you all say it is. I only had a couple relights, and I was able to smoke down to the bottom of the bowl. Not to mention I really like the taste. I think I have found my new go to tobacco.

Had my first bowl this morning on the walk to work. Wasn't quite what I expected, bit a good smoke indeed. If I could get it locally I would definitly keep it on hand.

I have a pouch of Prince Alberts Cherry/Vanilla blend but the only issue I have with it is the aftertaste it leaves. Other than that its a great smoke and very affordable.

Forty five years ago I smoked PA hand rolls, bought it in a tub and carried it in that lovely flat can. Saw a can recently and was very tempted but twenty eight bucks for two ounces of PA is just not going to happen.
Do they still sell Bugler in the States??

Well, I finally picked up some PA. A 1.5 oz box was $3.27 in Virginia. I smoked no less than three bowls this morning in fittingly, it seemed, my Dr. Grabow Regal. What a very nice smoke. I smoke Boswells "Premium Blended Burley" and found the PA had a bit more flavor and character. It is certainly the best OTC I've smoked yet. I definitely see the appeal and will have to pick up a larger supply, why not at that price?
