In Central Alberta, the cheap bulk is just under $20.00/oz and the decent tinned goes for about $50.00/oz.

Somewhere between $3.75 and $4.99 per oz. with the state taxes. Significantly less if you order on-line and ship out of state. (My state taxes pipe tobacco tax at 65% of the wholesale price.)

Wow, I did not realize how expensive tobacco is up in Canada. In Idaho the shop I go to sells their tobacco for five and a quarter for two ounces, they don't sell in one ounces, but it's their blends that they mix.

Runs around $3 an oz. here in Pittsburgh. BUT there's an oz. and then there's an oz. Mine usualy come in around 1.15-1.2oz so... Make a friend!

Olde Town Tobacconist in Fredericksburg, Va sells a "heavy" ounce for 3.00.
John B Hayes in Winchester / Fairfax seemed like 4.50-5.00 for a "perfect" ounce.
