Presbyterian Mixture

I have been thinking about trying Presbyterian what the difference in the basic and the Ordained? thoughts before I purchase.

Anybody can be a Presbyterian. Ordained usually means they have been to seminary. As to tobacco, no clue. I usually find sequels don't measure up to original. I could be wrong.

basic is English which I have smoked and find it a mellowish easy to smoke english. Not bad but I prefer some other similar blends. Ordained I haven't tried but it's listed as a VA blend. So very different things but both tobacco so pretty great.

I enjoy the original from time. It is a easy going English blend with a lot less latakia. Really more of a Virginia and oriental blend. Been around for a long time and has lots of fans.

The original is an excellent light English.
Ordained is a Va blend that is also pretty good.

Reformation is completely different - tastes like Mocha Strips but it costs more.

Presby devotee here, a very distinct very light latakia more musty oriental and mellow VA , haven't tried the others have heard Ordained compared to Capstan Yellow.

As far as I know, there's nothing in common between the various "Presbyterian" blends apart from the manufacturer and brand name. I'm still trying to figure out the rationale for labelling the new blends with "Presbyterian", apart from brand recognition.

Can't go wrong with the original. As others have stated, it's light on the latakia and heavy on the VA and Orientals. I personally find it quite delightful.

I have a couple tins patiently awaiting a place in the rotation. It's a staple vanguard blend, like Elizabethian or Granger. I figured I probably owe it to me to find out for myself.

I’d say it’s a good anytime all day smoke imo
