I'm going to risk my previously unimpeachable reputation by going out on a limb and saying that I don't believe there is latakia in Presbyterian Mixture.

Ah, the classic controversy. I had a professor once who once lectured on an economic topic that was open to debate, and then outlined the views of two different Nobel prize-winning economists with different views on said topic. He ended the lecture with "so whichever side you take, you'll be disagreeing with someone a lot more accomplished than you".
Same goes here: I think Pipestud's review of it says there's no Latakia, and JimInks' mentions the (slight) presence of the stuff. So whichever side you take, you'll be disagreeing with someone a lot more accomplished than you.
For the record, I think there's a very very slight amount of Latakia.

I agree that this is a quite underrated blend, although I wish they didn't come in plastic bags inside the tin.

I'll be damned; I've never smoked Presbyterian. I've been aware of it for decades, I like the stoic tin art, and I've been curious, but I guess I've never picked it up. I guess I should, eh?
Amsterdam is about as tobacco forward as they come, sweet and earthy. If you dry your tobacco before you smoke, you want to watch it with this blend; it dries fast when left to open air. Get the pipe cut (there's a cigarette cut version of this blend, as well). Good stuff, great mixer.

Good advice on the PS Amsterdam; I'll get it in a jar first. I don't know whether to dive in the Presbyterian or give it some shelf time. Maybe a little shelf time to give it the best chance. PC was prompt and accurate getting the blends here. I do like the Presby tin art, a style all its own. Amsterdam has quite a bouquet, even through the baggie.
