I have found this method very reliable. Place one flake of FVF on indestructable ceramic plate. Place precisely one meter from medium yield tactical nuclear weapon in the Nevada desert. Retire to distance of forty miles. Ignite weapon. Wait one hour and retrieve flake with shielded personnel carrier. Only 12 hours further drying time will be needed.

Not in FVF ... just a great pressed Virginia with notes of molasses / treacle
is the aged blend as good ?
Even better ... most Va's improve with some age and FVF is no exception.

ok thanks - for whatever reason gawith's " aged " blend is rarely covered either in posts or the "tobacco review .com " site.

I am still walking around daily with a big ball of semois in my gym socks and soon I hope it will be ready.
I have moved the semois to my jockstrap. In another week it should be ready.
Thanks for the tip on prepping FVF peck. Your knowledge of prepping he different blends is beyond compare. :worship:

I sit a flake out (when necessary) until it's dry enough and then slightly pull, push, and stuff. I switch it up depending on the pipe, but I almost always smoke FVF in a stacked poker. It's taken the fold out of the equation.
