Preferred SG Blend?

If you would have a choice between the following SG blends, which one would you pick and why?
- Cabbies Mix
- Full Virginia Plug
- St James Flake
- Best Brown Flake

I'm thinking of picking up one of the above blends as an early birthday gift to myself and tobacco is expensive in Australia, so I can only pick one. What is your favourite?

Best Brown beacuse is a virginia you can smoke evereday all day long and will always be a fine smoke. Not as complex as Full Virginia but less tricky.

Right now for me it is Hansom Flake but it is one of the stronger VaPer’s out there.

Cabbie's Mixture. VA/ Perique fan. This hits the middle of the road for me...once was an all day smoke for me...now with availability issues at times...it has become a special times smoke.

I also would go with Cabbie’s, although without the intention of detracting from the others. Cabbie’s has more “grassy” taste, which is my preference in Virginias.

Full Virginia Plug but St James would be a very close second.
To be honest you can't go wrong with any of the 4 blends you mentioned, they're all top-notch?.

I haven't tried Cabbies, but between the other three, Full Virginia and St James are the best. Actually they are the best of all blends by any blender. No 1.

Id personally go for the full Virginia. That would be my preference. There is something about a quality pure Virginia that Satisfies like no other. I wouldn't turn up my nose to St James though! Yummy

Any of the four would be welcome in my pipe. Best Brown is the best, however. That suggestion comes from a process of elimination. FV too fussy to prepare and smoke. Some people do not like Cabbies -- so, on that possibility eliminated. St. James is absolutely wonderful WHEN AGED.

Best Brown smokes well young and old, is easy to prepare, and has sweet, wonderful Virginia flavor (best of the breed actually).

But, again, all four choices are good, you can't go wrong.

Right now its Cabbies but all have been favorites in the past. Never had the plug. I can't slice as good as the Gawith factory so I doubt It'd be any better than FVF to me. Great choices, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Plug just because it's the hardest to get. You can't go wrong though. My favorite is Cabbie's but everytime I try St. James I wonder if I haven't erred

If you're making an expensive, perhaps overseas, order anyways Best Brown and Full Virgina Flake (not plug) are available in 250g containers vs the others which are only sold in 50g tins.

Might help make the decision for you.

Best Brown because you can smoke it all day no fuss without irritating your mouth etc. Tastes mildly sweet, light, and a bit tangy.

I wasn’t blown away by the FVF Plug, thus it’s been jarred and stashed away.

Close call but I like BBF or FVF. Can't go wrong with either one.
