Oh I didn’t see the lighter at first and thought you lit your pipe with a muzzle flare.
it is a special ritual lighting a pipe with matches....if I got a fire going on outside my cabin i always use a stick from the fire to light my pipeI use a zippo most of the time but if I’m at home and out of the wind I will use wooden matches as I find you can get a better light by moving the match flame around the bowl.
I really use to think people who purposely used matches were just picky but there is definitely something to it.
maybe its time to try it...Oh I didn’t see the lighter at first and thought you lit your pipe with a muzzle flare.
its my Peacemaker 45 I carry in my truck and gun for woods...It was the only thing around I could find to support my pipe and it did a great job? is for the pistol. Nice pistol! What pistol is that? Maybe u can write a new thread for the guns collector? ?

Where did you get that clipper… i can only find them on that famous auction site and they cost more to ship to the US than the actual lighter costs.Either a Zippo pipe lighter:
or this Clipper pipe light:
I bought it from that famous auction site, as best as I can remember, a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, I can't find another one with affordable shipping to the States either.Where did you get that clipper… i can only find them on that famous auction site and they cost more to ship to the US than the actual lighter costs.
As a follow-up. This lighter is already out of commission. It seems the seals have blown on the internal tank. So, will send off to Colibri. Guess that’s what happens for buying a lighter in a store where it’s likely sat for 5-10 years with no use. And - why I just don’t do that shit anymore - but, maybe it was for old time sake ?This is so new for me - but, I cannot stand it any longer.
Fear the dragon… it’s the renewed excitement for the discussion and the fact that I can light two pipes at once. ?
