If you’re after a traditional straight pot, I’d recommend a Blakemar.
Peterson make a nice pot as well. The 606/608 in the Aran or Army lines are rather nice. If you’re feeling a bit flush, don’t forget Dunhill.

Out of all the pots I’ve had though, my 2 from Blakemar Briars are my favourites. If you ever watched ‘Peaky Blinders’ on the telly, that was a Blakemar Sam Neill was smoking.

Occasionally an Ashton pot shows up
I have a GBD estate with perspex stem that's pretty dandy.
I think Radice has a shape like the Castello 55 for less money

For other ideas use Pipefinder on Smoking Pipes, search by shape.

This is one fine pipe, near the top of my list now. The only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger is that it is drilled for a filter. I may just buy it and put in the Tsuge spiral.

For a straight clench, that’d be too heavy for me.
Maybe have a gander at some of the UK shops, there’s a few similar shapes about.

Neerup makes some kick ass pipes.
I own a bunch of Neerups and Jeppesens but have a real problem with the thickness of the briar at the bottom of the bowl. Calipers show only 3/32". It does get warm down there and this particular one is only a month old.

Blakemar make fine pipes

Problem is getting one if you are not in the UK
I have tried unsuccessfully to buy a Sir Douglas Lovat on several occasions
The site won't allow me to pay for the pipe cray
And no answer to repeated emails
I have given up
