I searched for another “bamboo“ thread but did not find a recent one. Let’s see some Bambusa Vulgaris (bamboo) pipes. Here’s a couple of photos of some of mine.

I have but 1, a Nording, which I rarely smoke as the chamber is too small for my preference. In fact, it seems that nearly every bamboo shanked pipe I see has a bowl smaller than I like.

The only one I own: a Bari Wiking gifted to me by a brother-in-law. Great smoker. There are some fine examples of craftsmanship posted above, and I wish I could like the bamboo more than I do. I probably wouldn't buy one for myself. Maybe it's the "knuckles".
Now, if someone made a varnished hexagon strip bamboo insert, that'd be a different story altogether. Enjoy your pipes fellas, that's all counts!
