Porcelan Pipes.

I just got an old German porcelain pipe and would like to know what would be the best way to clean the bowl after smoking it.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.

I would say just wipe it out with a paper towel and it should be fine. Enjoy your clay pipe.

I think a good wipe down with a paper towel would be sufficient either way. Post up a picture or two of it as well. Is it similar to a hunting pipe?

Is the bowl itself glazed? I could see these as being extremely easy to clean if there's no porous surfaces on them, although maybe a bit hot to the touch?

Yes, the bowl is glazed and it has to cool down before I can clean it.
