Poll-What Finish Do You Like on Your Pipes

Sandblasts and craggy rustication. Although I own a few, not a big fan of smooth.

Smooth. I love seeing the grain and watching the briar patina over time.

When I first started smoking the pipe I heard smooth pipes have the best grain. Which is true in some instances. But, over time I really developed a passion for blasts. I have both and appreciate them both. However, I do like the texture of heavy blasted pipes where the carver really digs outs the ring blast. They are also easier to grip.
