Nice work! But "without wax"? Did you use mineral oil?

Woops, I meant without stain. I did use Paragon wax and then a buffer.

Here are a couple of unstained pipes, left, a Bertram, and right, a Wilkie. Age, nose oil and wax over the years has produced a nice patina.

I love those Mr. John. I’ve grown rather partial to bent dogs of late. I’d especially have never guessed the bent billiard (? on the right) wasn’t stained. Very nice grain!
