they do indeed come with the adaptor! At least mine did.

Though I have another Savinelli that I lost the adaptor and I’ve been smoking it with no filter and no adaptor and it’s been smoking great, haven’t noticed a real difference!

As did mine. I don't find the Savinelli balsa filters objectionable, however.

Yeah I don’t actually mind them either in use, they do actually soak up a lot of moisture.

The only reason I stopped using them is because you can’t get a pipe cleaner through when your done smoking or when you need to. Then all that nasty juice is sitting there until you can take the pipe apart (usually the next day for me) and clean it. Something about that just didn’t jive with me so I stopped using them.

Rattray's has some nice German-made pokers. I like these two, priced around $100 and $175 respectively.
